OCTOTECH is an ambitious start up company focusing on the development and production of high tech sea robotics. GIAYO and OCTOTECH joined forced to consolidate the brand identity and design the brand's flagship. The OJET is the first product in a series of personal watersport jets, allowing both deep water diving,  and high speed water surface cruising capabilities. 

Growing a brand and it's products from the very first day is a chance to create something truly unique. We have packed this design with innovative technologies including a unique slate battery and a special polymer composite for the external shell. We've learned and adapted as the design, engineering and user experience merge, transform and evolve as the process progress. 

The final result truly reflect our design philosophy; a solid comprehension of all aspects of the project from user experience, to detailed engineering and aesthetics without compromising.

How do you make an object stand out in an underwater environment? 

How do you protect it against erosion from the contact of sea water and sand ?

Choosing the right materials, textures and colors is an integral part of every project and the Ojet is no different. It is designed to withstand brutal abuse from it's users, but also from the environment in which it will live, and to do so without loosing it's charm.
